Team Commitment & Expectations
By signing up for tryouts, you are committing to a full-season sport that runs from May 2025 through February 2026. If selected for the team, you are expected to attend all practices, performances, and competitions.
While pompon is a fun and rewarding experience, it is also a competitive team that requires dedication, hard work, and consistent participation. Our team represents CMMS with pride, and we hold all members to a high standard of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Key Expectations:
- Attendance is crucial. You must be present at practices, performances, and competitions.
- Being unprepared affects the team. If you miss practice, you are responsible for learning what you missed before the next practice.
- Positive representation matters. Pommers and parents/families are expected to uphold school values, respect teammates and coaches, and maintain a positive presence at all times.
- Academics come first. You must pass 6 of 7 classes to remain eligible for the team.
- A sports physical is required. You must upload your physical form to FinalForms before tryouts to be eligible to participate.
By registering for tryouts, you acknowledge these commitments and understand that if you make the team, you are expected to fulfill your role through February 2026.
We can’t wait to see you at tryouts! 🏆💙
